Amplifying Black Women voices
THE MOMENT
Rise & Thrive brought together Black women entrepreneurs in Lisbon who were building and growing businesses, often without the same level of access to networks, visibility, or structured support found in larger ecosystems. Many were navigating that tension between doing everything themselves and wanting to think more strategically about their next stage of growth.
THE WORK
We designed and facilitated an experience at Second Home Lisboa that created room for honest dialogue while also pushing participants to articulate their goals, challenges, and next moves. We brought in speakers from 4 countries, organized food from African-owned restaurants, and ended the event with music and networking.
